All marketers are in the business of changing behaviour. If you’re not changing people’s behaviour in a way that benefits your business, it would be difficult to call it marketing.

Regardless of what your product does, it is highly likely that your potential customers have a ‘status quo’. Psychological Marketing Strategies 101: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs

The internet has revolutionized our lives and impacted nearly every aspect of marketing. It deeply impacts how we as marketers approach and interact with consumers today.

With this, a whole new industry was born: digital and search marketing.

While we embrace the new, a couple of theories have stood the test of time. These are the foundation on which psychological marketing strategies are built. One of those is Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. This motivational theory of psychology was developed by Abraham Maslow, a specialist in human behavioral psychology in 1943.

It is a five-tier model of human needs, often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid. Needs lower down in the hierarchy must be satisfied before individuals can attend to needs higher up. From the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, the needs are physiological, safety, belonging and love, esteem, and self-actualization.

Consumer Research Methods

Market research is often needed to ensure that we produce what customers really want and not what we think they want.

Primary vs. secondary research methods.  There are two main approaches to marketing.  Secondary  research involves using information that others have already put together.  For example, if you are thinking about starting a business making clothes for tall people, you don’t need to question people about how tall they are to find out how many tall people exist—that information has already been published by the U.S. Government.  Primary research, in contrast, is research that you design and conduct yourself.  For example, you may need to find out whether consumers would prefer that your soft drinks be sweater or tarter.

Ülevaade maksu- ja finantspoliitika valdkondade tähtsamatest seadusemuudatustest 2019 aastal.

Pensioni II samba tasud vähenevad

Teise samba valitsemistasu piirmäär langeb, mistõttu tasud langevad 2019. aastal senisest kiiremini jõudes OECD keskmise ehk 0,6% juurde.

Heade tulemuste korral võivad fondivalitsejad alates aastast 2020 võtta valitsemistasu ühe osana edukustasu. Selleks peab kohustusliku pensionifondi tootlus ületama sotsiaalmaksu pensionikindlustuse osa kasvu alates 2019. aasta septembrist. Edukustasu ei ole lubatud võtta konservatiivse pensionifondi valitsemiselt. Pensionifondide varade investeerimise reeglid muutuvad paindlikumaks. Näiteks on lubatud kogu vara investeerida börsiaktsiatesse. Samuti saab senisest rohkem investeerida börsivälistesse aktsiatesse ja kinnisvarasse. Need muudatused võimaldavad pensionifondidel rohkem Eestisse investeerida.

Maksu- ja tolliamet (MTA) on koostanud äriühingu osanikele abistava juhendmaterjali, mis aitaks eristada äriühingu osaniku, juhatuse liikme ja töötaja tasusid ning neid vastavalt maksustada.

Majandus- ja kutsetegevuses sõlmitud lepingute puhul eeldatakse, et need on tasulised (võlaõigusseaduse § 28 lg 1). Eeltoodust tulenevalt juhul, kui pooled ei ole teisiti kokku leppinud, on osaühingu juhatuse liikmel eelduslikult õigus saada äriühingu juhtimise eest osaühingult tasu[1]. Kui pooled ei ole tasu suuruses eraldi kokku leppinud, on juhatuse liikmel õigus saada mõistlikku tasu[2].

Ettevõtlusega alustamine takerdub tihti algkapitali puudumise või vajaliku suurema investeeringu taha. Ettevõtte eduraamatu autor Krista Teearu toob välja peamised võimalused ettevõtte finantseerimiseks ning nendega seonduvad riskid.

Ettevõtte käibevara ja põhivara (bilansi aktiva pool) finantseeritakse omanike (bilansi passiva poole omakapitali osa) ja laenuandjate (bilansi passiva poole kohustuste osa) poolt. Iga vara peab olema millegi arvelt finantseeritud, muidu bilanss ei klapiks.

Kui põhivara ostmiseks raha vajamine on arusaadav, siis käibekapitali finantseerimise vajadus on raskemini mõistetav. Aga sellest oleks vaja aru saada.

Ettevõtte käibekapital koosneb varade poolel käibevarast rahast, nõuetest ostjatele, muudest nõuetest, laovarudest ning võlgade poolelt – võlad tarnijatele, võlad töötajatele, maksuvõlad. Kui võlausaldajad annavad sulle maksmiseks aega 30 päeva ja kliendid maksavad alles 45 päeva pärast, siis on sul vaja enne raha oma arvete maksmiseks kui klientidelt raha laekub.
